The Assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy Considered as a Downhill Motor Race For this brief we were required to design and craft a limited edition publication using the text of An Assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy considered as a Downhill Motor Race by J.G. Ballard. In terms of concept we looked at comic styles and formats to portray this satirical short story. We used screen print and letter press to create our artwork which portrayed the contrasting elements within the story. The grid like formation used throughout was to interpret the style of photography frames used at that time when the assassination was captured.
